A Ukrainian perspective.
A European outlook.
Ukrainian political scientist specialising in national resilience, civil–military cooperation and the recovery of Ukraine.
I joined the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS) as a Non-Resident Research Fellow in January 2025. I also continue to serve as an Associate Professor at Sumy State University in Ukraine and as Director of its Research Centre for Regional Security.
My work connects academic research with policy discussions on how societies withstand war, rebuild institutions and strengthen their security. My interests also include Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, refugee return and Nordic–Baltic cooperation.
